“I’m not a meteorologist, but I play one on the internet.”

Pagosacam.com Disclaimer

I am not a meteorologist.  Although I have stayed in a Holiday Inn Express, users of this site should not rely on my forecasts when planning outdoor activities such as weddings, balloon rallies, or hay cuttings.  My forecasts are derived by looking at a variety of “real” forecasts each morning from the National Weather Service, Weather.com. Intellicast.com, Weatherunderground.com, and Dayweather.com.  I meld these forecasts into my own, and I try to make the most accurate forecast I can, but I do not guarantee the accuracy of these daily forecasts and as such, I will not assume any liability for any harm that may result from an inaccurate forecast.  (i.e. if it snows on your wedding cake.) The forecasts are generally updated once a day, usually by 8:00am MST give or take.  Any storm warnings that I post come directly from the National Weather Service.  I try to keep those as current as possible, sometimes updating PagosaCam 4 or 5 times daily.  Especially in the winter.  When it tends to snow here sometimes.

Bottom line, I try to provide the most accurate forecast possible for Pagosa Springs, Colorado.  I know for a fact that the statistics and current conditions provided by Pagosacam.com are far more accurate for Pagosa Springs than what you find on the “Big Boy’s” web sites.  That data comes from the weather station up on Wolf Creek Pass.  That data is very accurate for Wolf Creek, but that is about 20 miles east of downtown Pagosa, and about 3000 feet higher.  So I will continue to provide the best local Pagosa Springs, Colorado forecasts, current conditions, and historical data that I can.  Even though I do custom embroidery and promotional products for a living.  Have you visited www.whut.biz?   We can help promote your company…oh wait.  I’m off topic.  That’s a surprise.

I very much appreciate the loyal following that PagosaCam has garnered over the past 4+ years.  I’ll continue to do this right up until I don’t.  Thanks for taking the time to read this.  And when you think about it, snow could really help some wedding cakes.
